Trip Essentials

Getting Around

We'll move between Seoul, Gyeongju, and Busan by coach, KTX, metro, and bus. You'll each get a T-money transit card pre-loaded with ₩50,000. Only cash is accepted at top-up machines.

Currency & Payments

Cards are widely accepted, but carry some cash for markets, small eateries, street food, and topping up your T-money card.

Internet

We recommend arranging an eSIM or international roaming before you arrive, so you're connected throughout the trip.

Essential Apps

Naver Map (Google Maps doesn't work well in Korea) and Kakao T for taxis, set both up before you arrive.

Luggage

One suitcase and one small backpack per person. Your luggage will be transferred for you, including ahead of the train to Gyeongju.

Travel Insurance

We strongly recommend personal travel insurance, arranged before departure.
